AI and voice are two big things for the future. In current times, users are more inclined in using Voice assistants for their daily search queries. We wanted to turn this passive user behavior into an active voice experience for fans. From a digital and creative marketing perspective, it was a great tactic to connect to auto expo audiences and turn them as fanbase/loyalists. With these goals in mind, we created the ‘Maruti Suzuki Expert – India First Voice based Assistant in Automotive Vertical’

Objective

The objective was to create a Voice Based AI Assistant, which helped in driving awareness about Maruti Suzuki at Auto Expo 2018.

We introduced Asia Pacific’s first AI Powered Voice Assistant to help the users with everything on Auto Expo 2018. An Innovative Media Strategy was implemented which had the user as its prime focus and educating the user about the ‘Voice Assistant’

Solution

To implement this idea we incorporated our Maruti Suzuki Assistant into the Google Assistant where users easily got connected with the Maruti Suzuki Assistant and asked queries around Maruti Suzuki and Auto Expo 2018. The Assistant gave a personal experience and helped the users in solving their queries. An engagement activity was also created where in users could get a chance to win all new IGNIS car by interacting with the Voice Based Assistant and by cracking a code.

Results

This Google Voice Assistant initiative resulted in 2100% increase in unique users and recorded almost 100,000 conversations. The activity was covered in more than 29 PR stories and also caught Arnab Goswami’s eye who tweeted about it.
